Simple Pleasures

Today was a sunny day.

I woke up early, went to church, and heard a word that touched my heart.

I came home and took a much-needed nap.

When I woke up, my second-born made us blueberry smoothies and we ate them together in the sun.

And those simple pleasures, all by themselves, were enough to make this a very lovely Mother's Day indeed.
