Cupcakes

When my first-born was just a wee little girl, she fell madly in love with cupcakes. We drew pictures of cupcakes, shaped play-dough into cupcakes, went to the bakery to watch people decorate cupcakes, made up stories about cupcakes, and of course, baked and ate our own homemade cupcakes. 

Twenty some-odd years later, my daughter still loves cupcakes with all her heart.

Now, she goes to Seattle cupcake shops like this one, Cupcake Royale, and buys boxes full of breathtakingly beautiful and deliciously yummy cupcakes. 

And best of all, she shares them with me.
