A Splendid Afternoon

^ This is the red dog who snoozed in the shade,
ignoring the tabby who made a round nest
near the black cats who came rushing 
to sniff at the plants that I bought to plant 
on a sunny spring Friday at my house.

And we all had a splendid afternoon.
