One lovely summer afternoon, probably a lot like today, my neighbor was sitting on his shady porch and enjoying the fine day.
Suddenly, he saw a sight to behold. Leaping to his feet, he dashed into the house, grabbed his camera, ran back outside and captured this shot.
Thank you, Mr. Wood, for being quick on your feet and knowing a good thing when you see one.
Because when you snagged this remarkable photo of my third-born brother (on the right) with his two buddies as they roamed around our neighborhood like a pack of mud-crazed zombies, you taught me a valuable lesson about living in the moment, and being ready for anything.
